应变式电阻传感器的工作原理是电阻应变效应.将测量物体的变形转换成电阻的变化。
  所谓的电阻应变效应,就是导体或半导体在受到外力的作用下,会产生机械变形,从而导致其电阻值发生变化的现象。
  导体和半导体的电阻都遵循欧姆定律,即在温度不变时,电阻值与长度成正比,与横截面积成反比与它的电阻率P正比。
  当导体和半导体在受到外力作用时,这三者都会发生变化,所以会引起电阻的变化。电阻的变化量AR可由全微分得到。
  电阻的灵敏系数。受两个因素的影响,一是由材料的几何尺寸的变化引起的:另一个是由材料的电阻率随应变引起的。对于导体而百,电阻的相对变化量主要在前两项(即长度祁截面积)表现得比较明显,并由此构成应变式电阻传感器。由于一般金属丝的伯松比,所以,电阻的灵敏系数材而对于半导体,则在后一项(即电阻率)土表现得比较明显.由此构成压阻式传感器。压阻式传感器的灵敏系数久h要比应变式电阻传感器大得多。导体和半导体都可以构成应变计,并形成各自的传感器。
